  1. Stay strong, I have been to most of the prisons in California and there always seems to be some type of issue. I had all the appropriate papers for my granddaughter, showing that I was her legal guardian, and they still treated me like I had kidnapped her.
    The one thing that I object to is the fact that no matter what you look like, or how good your diction is, you are treated like you just escaped from prison yourself. I see why people are afraid of guards, police and the sheriff. This is the reason that there are problems with our police officers on the streets. As a 70 year old woman, who has no record, has never been arrested, there will be trouble, if I am EVER asked to sit on a curb. I can’t guarantee that I will remain calm. Folks in Los Angeles are already on edge, please don’t push us over.
