Tyrone Jones

Tyrone Jones, a formerly-incarcerated juvenile lifer, spent 43 years in Pennsylvania prisons, arrested at 16 for a murder he says he did not commit. He spent half his sentence at SCI Camp Hill, then was transferred to SCI Mahanoy, from which he was released on September 1st 2016 shortly before his 60th birthday, following his Montgomery vs. Louisiana resentencing.

While incarcerated, Ty got his GED and learned and was employed in trades as an electrician, plumber, and sanitation worker.

He now lives with his sister and brother-in-law in rural Chester County PA, and the Pennsylvania Innocence Project is working on his case.
